It is assumed that you will be targeting the same architecture as the version of Linux you are building upon. So for example,if you are using 64-bit Linux, you are likely to be building 64-bit applications.
BlitzMax and 64-bit Ubuntu
While it is possible to build 32-bit applications on 64-bit Linux, we do not encourage it as you may often find there arevarious dependency issues when trying to get the development environments configured.
For Windows, there are 3 releases available. Each provides a different version of the MinGWtoolchain depending on whether you are targetting 32-bit or 64-bit Windows applications.If you are not sure, just pick the 32/64 bit release, which allows you to build applications for both. 2ff7e9595c
